INFANT Laboratory

The INFANT laboratory facilities are situated in the CUMH.

We have bench facilities and our INFANT Biobank.

How does the laboratory work?

The INFANT laboratory facility, based in Cork University Maternity Hospital, allows our researchers to work on their groundbreaking treatments and technologies.

The laboratory is situated in the hospital, allowing for the careful collection, storage and analysis of research data. This includes biological samples from mothers and babies who come through the hospital, or participate in our research studies. These samples are stored in the laboratory's biobank.

The laboratories are purpose-built and serve both research and clinical needs.
