Ria is INFANT’s Education and Public Engagement officer. She provides support to the research teams in order to raise public awareness and understanding of INFANT’s cutting edge research programmes and the roles they play in society.
Ria has a PhD from Oxford Brookes University and has worked in a number of roles communicating science to the public and school children. She joined the team in May 2015 from CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory where she developed scientific education programmes and events for a wide range of audiences from pre-school children to second-level teachers.
