Oksana Semenova currently undertaking PhD as a part of the NEUROPROBE project team. The overall objective of the project is to develop an automated multimodal EEG, blood pressure and cerebral oxygenation monitoring system based on advanced signal processing and machine learning-based decision making to be used for constant surveillance in the preterm neonate.
Her work is mainly focused on finding an interrelation between changes in EEG activity and episodes of hypotension in preterm babies in the first 72 hours after delivery.
