Stacey Power is a PhD candidate at INFANT Centre and Cork University Maternity Hospital. Her primary interest is in perinatal and children’s palliative care and bereavement care. The primary focus of her research is to establish the numbers of pregnancies diagnosed prenatally with a major fatal fetal anomaly and to explore experiences of parents, healthcare professionals and voluntary organisations following such diagnoses and pregnancy loss.

Stacey is a Registered Intellectual Disability and Children's Nurse with a Post Grad in Palliative Care and Masters in Specialist Nursing. She sits on the Pregnancy and Loss Research Group in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Cork University Maternity Hospital.
