Nicolai’s current role is within the PARROT Ireland trial, she is the national study monitor. She has responsibility for monitoring data in order to maintain consistency and high standards across all sites.
Nicolai is a graduate of University College Cork (UCC) in both general Nursing and Midwifery. She has completed a research masters in the area of coagulation in pregnancy. Nicolai has vast research experience, including national and global multicentre studies. She started her research career in 2007 as the midwife coordinator of the SCOPE study in Cork University Maternity Hospital.
