Roberto is a Research Fellow at INFANT. His research ultimately aims to provide novel insight regarding neonatal and transitional haemodynamic through ultrasound prospective assessment. Furthermore, he is particularly interested in the role of ischemic-reperfusion injury in the pathogenesis of necrotizing enterocolitis, and the detection of preventable hemodynamic disturbances to improve the outcome of premature neonates.
