Claire is a Clinical Research nurse at Infant. She is currently working on the BabySMART Study, a part of the ENRICH project. The study will examine the effect of infant massage, delivered by parents according to a structured intervention program following training, on both the quality and quantity of sleep and on subsequent neurodevelopment.
Claire previously worked on the Cork BASELINE Birth Cohort study. Babies recruited at birth were followed up at two months, six months, twelve months, two years and five years of age. The children’s early life environment, diet, and lifestyle were recorded along with monitoring of their growth, development, and health.
