Eileen joined INFANT in 2025 as programme manager for ELEVATE which is 5-year programme focused on the prevention, early detection and treatment of brain injury and cerebral palsy (CP) in infants. The programme is co-funded by Research Ireland and the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.

Working with the executive and management teams, Eileen is responsible for the day-to-day operation and administration to ensure full implementation of the ELEVATE programme.

Eileen has over 15 years’ experience of research project management and coordination across academic, industry, and healthcare settings. She has fostered interdisciplinary collaborations at local, national, and international level to influence and align research efforts with national and EU strategic priorities. Eileen has a BSc (Hons) and PhD in Plant Science, a Cert in Quality Assurance and Dip in Quality Management.
