AIM-HIGH Study

Patient Information Leafet

AIM-HIGH (Assessing Intellectual and Motor outcomes in High-Risk Infants) is a research study led by the INFANT Research Centre at University College Cork, in partnership with Cork University Maternity Hospital and other hospitals across Ireland.

The study focuses on babies who may be at a higher risk of developmental difficulties, such as those born prematurely or with early neurological concerns. While most babies develop typically, it can be difficult to predict early on which children may need extra support.

Through a series of structured follow-up visits over the first 2.5 years of life, AIM-HIGH aims to improve early identification of developmental differences by closely monitoring babies’ growth and development.

Participation is entirely voluntary and does not affect your child’s usual care.
