Dr Barbara Burke is a Specialist Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with the Royal College of Physicians Ireland (RCPI), and a Clinical Research Fellow and PhD candidate at INFANT, UCC. The focus of her research is the prediction of at-risk pregnancies and sentinel perinatal events associated with early brain injury and cerebral palsy. This project is part of the ELEVATE programme, and is funded via Research Ireland and The Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Dr Burke’s supervisors are Professor Keelin O’Donoghue, Professor Maeve Eogan and Professor Gordon Lightbody.
