Dr Chiara Passarella, INFANT clinical researcher fellow, is a specialist registrar in paediatrics and neonatology, in her last year as SpR trainee, at the IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico Milano, University of Milan.

Dr Passarella joined INFANT in September 2023. She is the co-investigator the MATINEE 2 Study: Monitoring hAemodynamic Transition IN the dElivEry room, led by Professor Eugene Dempsey.  The aim of the study is to directly evaluate the hemodynamic impact of cord clamping on the transient circulation in preterm newborns using echocardiography.
