Tom joined the INFANT team in 2024 with a strong background in project and data / software management. He is currently project managing the Newborn Brain Test (a Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund project run in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland, Cergenx and Evervault) and is interim programme manager for ELEVATE (a multi-year programme funded by Science Foundation Ireland and the Cerebral Palsy Foundation). ELEVATE will be a gamechanger for the prevention, detection, improvement and intervention of Cerebral Palsy .

Before joining The INFANT Team, Tom was SVP of IT and Business Operations at Poppulo, one of Ireland’s leading success stories in the Software as a Service (SAAS) industry. He was CIO of the Registers of Scotland – Scotland’s land Registry – where he led a major transformation programme. Prior to that, Tom held senior IT and project management roles at the Student Loans Company (UK), Scottish Government (UK), Verint (UK) and CMG (Ireland).

Tom was awarded UK CIO of the Year in 2017 by the UK IT Awards, and was named one of the Top 100 CIOs in the UK by Computing Magazine.

Tom received an Masters in Business Administration from Strathclyde University in 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from UCC in 1999.
